Nicholas Suarez is a New England based clarinetist currently completing his final semester at Boston University's College of Fine Arts, School of Music, where he studies music education. He is currently fulfilling his student teaching requirements at North Quincy High School, Quincy High School, and Central Middle School under the mentorship of Matthew Cavanaugh and Caitlyn Schmidt.

From Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Nicholas has had the opportunity to perform in the pit orchestras of musicals including The Drowsy Chaperone, Indecent, and Little Shop of Horrors — experiences that deepened his love for collaborative music-making. Throughout his time at BU, he has been fortunate to perform with a variety of chamber groups, Boston University Chamber Orchestra, and Boston University Wind Ensemble.

Nicholas currently studies clarinet with Robert Patterson and Barret Ham. His previous teachers include John Schwartz, Deborah Andrus, and Renée Rosen. He has previously performed in masterclasses with Boris Allakhverdyan and Jeff Anderle.
